The Shallows

Late Modern (1970–1990)
Storied Find #: 074-26
Crafted approximately 1975–1985, this triple cluster ring presents three oval-cut blue topaz stones of a clear sky blue, the colour of sunlit shallows over a pale seabed. Each stone is set within its own scalloped halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds, the three clusters flowing into one another across the finger to create a band of cool blue and white light. The buttery 9ct yellow gold of the shank provides a flattering contrast to the white metal of the cluster head, grounding the piece without diminishing its brightness.
