A Sustainable Legacy
The Original Circular Economy
Every piece in the Archive has already lived a lifetime — which means it carries no debt to the earth. When you choose antique or vintage jewellery, you sidestep the environmental toll of modern mining entirely. No new land disturbed, no industrial waste created. These treasures are already here, waiting for their next Keeper. We simply find them, tend to them, and pass them along — offering you a way to own something beautiful without asking anything new of the ground beneath us.
The Rescue Mission
Damaged antique and vintage pieces are often dismissed as scrap — melted down for their metal value alone, erasing centuries of craftsmanship in a single flame. We seek out the overlooked, the bruised, and the forgotten, investing in their restoration. The work of goldsmiths from decades or centuries past deserves to stay where it belongs: being worn, admired, and loved.
The Local Circle
Ane Antrin is run from a small studio in Scotland, where we keep our operations intentional and our partnerships close to home.
Scottish Craft. Specialised repairs and restorations are handled by local Scottish goldsmiths, and we work with the Edinburgh Assay Office for all necessary hallmarking. By keeping these processes close by, we reduce transport miles while supporting the traditional trades and master artisans of our own community.
Conscious Packaging. Your storied finds arrive in our signature eco-boxes, designed with the planet in mind. For our premium pieces, we provide protective cases finished in high-quality leatherette — a vegan-friendly alternative to traditional leather without compromising on elegance or durability.
The Logistics
We rely on Royal Mail for domestic journeys and DHL for international ones. We choose these partners for their reliability with precious cargo and their investment in a more sustainable future — including DHL's commitment to sustainable aviation fuel and carbon-neutral shipping initiatives. These global networks allow us to share our storied finds with new Keepers around the world through established, efficient routes.
