The Tender Promise (c.1882)

Victorian (1837–1901)
Storied Find #: 011-26
Hallmarked 1882, this ring presents a neat rectangular panel face — three rows running horizontally across the finger — the upper and lower borders laid with vivid sky-blue turquoise cabochons, and the centre row set with three old-cut diamonds that catch the light with the warm, slightly hazy brilliance characteristic of their age. Descending along each shoulder, natural creamy seed pearls soften the transition from the structured face to the 18ct gold band beneath. It is a ring with a clear emotional vocabulary — tender, and entirely of its moment.
Sentimental Token

In Victorian England, the language of the stones: turquoise for true love and forget-me-not, pearl for purity and sincere intention, diamond for eternity. ⠀ Together they read: my love for you is true, my intention is pure, and both are yours for eternity. ⠀ This ring was made for someone. Every stone placed with care, every word chosen with precision. Whether it was ever spoken aloud — only they will ever know.
