Keeper's Guide to Care
Everyday Wear
Sapphire (Mohs 9) · Diamond (Mohs 10)
Diamonds and sapphires love a gentle refresh. A bowl of lukewarm, mild soapy water and a very soft toothbrush will clear away the "dust of history." Whilst sapphires and diamonds generally tolerate an ultrasonic cleaner, we recommend sticking to a gentle hand-wash for this piece. The dense pavé setting of one hundred and fifty stones benefits from the control of a careful hand-wash to ensure every stone remains perfectly seated.
Just as we require a bit of maintenance, we recommend a professional "health check" once a year. A trusted jeweller can ensure prongs are stable and settings remain secure, and a professional clean almost always comes with it, meaning you can let the experts handle the heavy lifting whilst you simply enjoy the glow.
Store this piece separately, as sapphires and diamonds are hard enough to scratch other gemstones in your collection.
