Handmade, c.1860–1890, this ring settles a single oval cabochon at its centre: a deep, near-black stone ringed by a crisp band of white, cut with such precision that it reads as a watching eye. The rose gold is warm and gently worn, its bezel simple and unadorned, asking for nothing beyond what nature already carved into the agate.
