Wear commensurate with age. There is a small flea bite to one of the centre diamonds near a prong, only visible under magnification. The diamonds are bright and lively. The presence of a single brilliant cut diamond among the surrounding old cuts indicates a past repair, where one stone was replaced at some point in the piece's history.

Everyday Wear
Diamond, Mohs hardness 10, the hardest natural material known, extremely durable for daily wear.
This piece is set entirely in diamonds within a handmade 18ct gold mount, so it tolerates daily wear well, though the age of the setting still calls for a gentler hand than a modern piece. Use lukewarm, mild soapy water with a very soft toothbrush to clean the diamonds, and avoid an ultrasonic cleaner. Vintage settings, including the hand-finished galleries on this ring, can be loosened by ultrasonic vibration even where the stones themselves would tolerate it. A soft polishing cloth will keep the rose gold's warm patina bright when wanted.
An annual professional check-up is recommended to confirm all settings remain secure.
