The mount and hallmarks are in very good condition for their age. One turquoise is chipped, visible only under magnification. The centre pearl shows visible nacre loss. A repair is present at one shoulder, visible only under magnification and barely detectable. The hallmarks are crisp, with one mark, likely the sponsor's mark, softened by wear. The band has thinned gracefully with age, as is typical of rings of this period and construction. The ring is fully wearable.

Everyday Wear with Care
Pearl and turquoise are both members of what our reference calls "the sensitive souls," porous stones that should never be soaked and are best kept away from lotions, perfume, and household chemicals. Turquoise sits at Mohs 5 to 6, and pearl (nacre) considerably softer, at around 2.5 to 4.5, so care for this piece should follow the more delicate of the two.
After wearing, wipe gently with a soft, barely damp cloth to remove perspiration, which is mildly acidic and can affect both stone types over time. Store separately from harder stones, as pearls and turquoise scratch easily. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaning entirely.
